Desde o seu principal campus em Idstein perto de Wiesbaden, a Universidade de Ciências Aplicadas Fresenius pode olhar para trás em mais de 167 anos de tradição no ensino das ciências. Em 1848, Carl Remigius Fresenius fundou o Laboratório Químico Fresenius, que dedicou-se desde o início ao trabalho de laboratório prático, bem como a educação. Certificação como uma universidade patrocínio privado, estado-aprovado de ciências aplicadas seguido em 1971.

Hoje, a universidade oferece em tempo integral ea tempo parcial bacharelado e mestrado, bem como a formação profissional e educação continuada em sua sede em Idstein e seus campi em Colónia, Hamburgo, Munique, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Berlim e Nova York. Os cursos são repartidas por diferentes faculdades: Chemistry & Biology, Health & Social, Economia & Media e Design.

No entanto, esta medida de comunicação puramente orientada para o mercado não tem absolutamente nenhuma influência sobre o quadro jurídico da Universidade Fresenius de Ciências Aplicadas. As escolas não são um substituto para as faculdades, mas permitir que o departamento de marketing da universidade não só para apresentar os cursos, que têm fortemente crescido em número nos últimos anos, no mercado de uma forma mais transparente e focado, mas também para melhor atender as necessidades dos estudantes potenciais e existentes. The English-taught Master’s program International Business Management builds on the economic knowledge and management skills obtained during your Bachelor studies and develops these further with a specific focus on international business. In addition, the study program offers an opportunity that is still very rare in Germany: By spending a year abroad at the University of Chester (GB), students can graduate with an additional degree – a Master of Arts (M.A.) awarded by Hochschule Fresenius and a Master of Science (M.Sc.), awarded by University of Chester.
